Public Bio: My esteemed guests. My fellow feathered and furry friends. My dearest audience, welcome, to a very personal introduction from yours truly. While my mother may call me ‘nominative determinism at its worst’, and yours may opt for any number of expletives, you can just go with Rascal - everyone’s favourite friendly neighbourhood meerkat. If you need me, and I’m sure you will, hop on up to the Grey Trees and gimme a holler; your finest gossip (fresh from the source), your sturdiest advice, and the sweetest damn smile in all the land - right here and at your service.

Species: Meerkat

Appearance: If the (undoubtedly truthful) anecdote, account or allegory of the day slows just enough that Rascal can cease their incessant pacing and rather enthusiastic gesturing, you may begin to notice their rather unique physical features. With dark, darting eyes and a particularly short stature, Rascal seems fairly typical amongst the fellow meerkats they have encountered. He is set apart, however, by the striking charcoal marks speckling through his fur. Painting lines across his back, twisting along his spine, and curling up around his shoulder blades, the patterning almost resembles… wings?
